Saul Strosberg

Rabbi Saul Strosberg joined Sherith Israel, in Nashville, TN, as its spiritual leader in August 2005. A native of Schenectady, NY, Rabbi Strosberg received his ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, completed internships at the National Synagogue in Washington, DC and Beth David Synagogue in Hartford Connecticut. Prior to YCT, Strosberg received his bachelors degree in business administration from Yeshiva University and attended Hebrew University and Yeshivat Ateret Kohanim, in Jerusalem.
An experienced musician, Rabbi Strosberg played in Jewish wedding bands while living in New York. Rabbi Strosberg served as a High Holiday cantor in various communities during his years in Yeshiva, and holds the National Synagogue’s record for the longest Rosh Hashanah shofar blast.
Nationally, Rabbi Strosberg serves on the steering committee for the International Rabbinic Fellowship, is on the board of Yeshivat Maharat, and acts as an AIPAC rabbinic mentor. In town, Strosberg is the director of the Nashville Kosher Commission, rabbinic coordinator for the Nashville eruv, and is the founder of JMS Nashville, the community’s innovative Jewish middle school.
Rabbi Strosberg is married to Rabba Daniella Pressner, who is the principal at Akiva School, and together, they are the proud and grateful parents of Cole, Amalia, Ravital, and Yedid.
